The Proposal

Your Dad and I knew for weeks that Seth was going to propose. It was very hard to keep it a secret. You even said one day " you know" and I had a hard time keeping the smile of my face. Seth talked to me first then a few weeks later at the cabin he asked your Dad, of course we were thrilled. The planning of the proposal began around the time we were planning on taking Ava to Disneyland. I tried getting a reservation for labor day to really celebrate your birthday but they were booked. It took another 2 weeks before we could get the reservations then I found out you had a wedding to go to! Seth had been the one to give me the date! It took some doing but you agreed to come with us. You were planning on having Seth come too but gee, he could not get the time off. You were PISSED off but also sad and disappointed. I felt bad but I knew it would be all worth it in just a day. We were upgraded to the concierge floor at the Disneyland Hotel our rooms were beautiful. Yours was very romantic I knew you were really missing Seth. The proposal day morning was great I actually didnt really think about it much until Seth called and said he was on his way then I was excited and a bit crazy trying to figure out how to get this pulled off. Seth was much later than planned due to that great LA traffic so Dad and I had to stall. When he was finally in place we had to get you there which wasnt easy because you didnt really want to go. We had been at the Merry go round and was planning to go through the main entrance to the castle but it was blocked we had to enter the wishing well area from behind. I heard Seth talking as we walked in but you didnt. I was able to get into position to take pictures before you noticed Seth waiting for you. I will never forget how you reacted when you saw him. It was a priceless moment and I am so glad I got a picture. You said yes and we were all crying. Seth had stopped at the bar for a quick drink and met up with a couple who bought him the drink then followed him over to watch the big moment. The women even came and gave you guys a hug because she felt like she was a part of it. After the big question we went to dinner in Cafe Orleans and then got to sit in reserved seats to watch Fantasmic and the fireworks. You guys ended the evening by going to the fun new bar at the hotel called Trader Sams. I think it is safe to say either the best or the second best day of your life!
